field trip

We had so much fun on Jordan's fieldtrip. We went to Hovenweep National Monument. It was purely an educational fieldtrip. We learned about the Indians that lived in that area 1000 years ago. The children got to have hands on experience with all the things they learned about. They taught them about building fires, using primitive tools, including grinding corn, and each child got to try that. They learned what they ate, and how they grew gardens. They also learned how they hunted and got to throw a spear off an adalade. We hiked down into the canyon, and had to go through 2 rocks that are like skinny man's cave on the red hill, but not quite as tight. (almost though). I am sure glad she invited me to go!!

I hope you guys know how much I love and cherish you! Thanks for the message on my blog. We do miss him. It's always interesting how God works, but at least we know that it will all work itself out in the end. Hugs and kisses to all!
